It is very easy to use, and links with the Tree Diagram. It should be used in a brainstorm setting.
This tool is used to identify what might go wrong with a project, and in particular, the implementation of a plan. It is a risk assessment.
1. Write down the potential issue that might happen e.g. “What could go wrong with this project?”
2. Write down some of the possible answers e.g. wrong team members
3. Write down how this can be presented
4. Write down an answer to the question “what if it all goes wrong?”

When you have identified what could go wrong, you can develop your ideas to prevent it happening or at least reduce the risk.
Take time to review the risks throughout the project cycle.
